The WEC’s mix of lighter weight classes once again captivated fans at Sunday’s WEC 35 at the Hard Rock in Vegas. Carlos "Natural Born Killer" Condit deservedly took home the event high salary of $44,000 for his grueling four round war with challenger Hiromitsu Miura. Miura proved to be Condit’s toughest challenge to date, pushing the champ to new heights. |

Lightweight champ Jamie Varner and undercard fighter Brock Larson tied for the second highest salary of the night. Both put on impressive performances earning them $30,000 a piece. Official WEC 35 Fighter Payout’s:
As usual, the payout’s listed above are base salaries and do not include deductions for insurance licenses, taxes etc… nor do they include money paid by sponsors, which can make up for a large part of a fighter’s income.
