Urijah Faber proved that he is the number one featherweight in the world on Sunday defeating Jens "Lil Evil" Pulver in a grueling five round war. Faber’s quickness and agility proved to be too much for Pulver who was previously undefeated at 145lbs. Urijah’s unanimous decision over Pulver earned him an event-high salary of $44,000. |

Jens, who would have been the highest paid fighter of the night with a salary of $66,000 if he won, ended up with a payout of $33,000. The third top earner of the night was "Razor" Rob McCullough who took home $32,000 for his lackluster performance against Kenneth Alexander. Following Rob was WEC bantamweight champ, Miguel Torres, who earned every penny of his $28,000 with a TKO victory over Yoshiro Maeda. Each of the winning fighters received 50% to show and 50% as a win bonus. As usual, the payout’s listed above do not include deductions for insurance licenses, taxes etc. Nor do they include money paid by sponsors which can make up for a large part of the fighters income.
