This fight card is jam packed with talent and is probably the best fight card ever put together for a UFC Fight Night event in the history of the show. This was the reason mma fans, mma blogs and mma websites all worked together in petitioning Spike TV to have the event extended to three hours. Fans all over the mma stratosphere were asked to email Spike TV and request the hour extension. Apparently enough people sent emails to convince Spike TV that it was the best decision for the fans.

This card is absolutely unbelievable and considered by many to be even more impressive than some of the UFC’s PPV cards. In the main event of the night you have Kenny "Kenflo" Florian taking on Joe "J-Lau" Lauzon in a lightweight battle that should be electric. The co-main event features the "Pitbull" Thiago Alves squaring off against Karo "The Heat" Parisyan. Other top notch fighters to compete on the card include Matt Hamill, Kurt Pellegrino, Frank Edgar, Spencer Fisher, Clay Guida, and many many more. This Fight Night is going to be completely insane.

Although Spike TV hasn’t yet confirmed the three hour broadcast they will likely announce the news this week. They will also announce an updated televised card to compensate for the extra time. Even with three hours of air time we will still likely miss some amazing undercard bouts. They are available as always at UFC on Demand as long as you are running Windows XP. Unfortunately the current video software doesn’t support MAC’s. Lucky me! There are still ways to run the software using a MAC (Windows boot camp for example) but that’s a whole other discussion.

GracieFighter.com also confirmed today that Nate Diaz has been added to the card as if it couldn’t get any better. And it does get better because he is expect to fight Kurt Pellegrino.
