UFC.com recently confirmed that Chuck Liddell injured his right hamstring and was forced to pull out of UFC 85 scheduled for June 7 at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

Chuck tore his hamstring while training for his upcoming fight with undefeated Rashad Evans. This will be the second time a replacement is necessary for the main event.

Liddell was originally slated to fight Mauricio Rua who himself had to withdraw due to injury. Regardless of the injury, Chuck still wanted to fight on June 7. According to the article, Dana White would not let him.

"Unfortunately, Chuck Liddell tore his right hamstring during training last week, and being the warrior that he is, he still wanted to fight, which is the reason why everyone in the world loves him," said Dana White, UFC President. "But I wouldn’t let anyone fight with his leg looking that way. Let him heal and come back and fight when he is 100 percent."

Apparently fans don’t have to worry. A new main event along with a full lineup of 13 fights will be announced shortly for UFC 85. With 13 bouts on the card, this will be the biggest UFC event in over 10 years.

Also a new bout was announced for the London event. British heavyweight, Neil Wain, will make his UFC debut against kickboxer and UFC vet, Antoni Hardonk. Neil Wain is currently undefeated with a record of 4-0. While the combined record of his four opponents is 3-13, he has finished all of them via knockout in the very first round. Hardonk recently defeated Colin Robinson at UFC 80 via TKO in only 17 seconds of the first round.

THE FIRST TIME!!! I will admit that ufc hypes him up but he has big wins over quality opponents. He definately was not gonna lose to Rashad though. That leg looks gross, I can barely tell what it is.

I wasn’t saying Chuck would’nt win. I think he would have beat Rashad pretty easily. I was just saying, I would normally root for the underdog but not this time because I’m not a big fan of Evans.
