The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale kicks off tonight at 6:30pm from The Pearl in Las Vegas, NV.
Finalist Amir Sadollah and CB Dollaway will go head to head in a rematch to see who is crowned the Ultimate Fighter for season 7. In the main event of the night, Kendall Grove will return to action in what is possibly the biggest fight of his career, to take on former middleweight champion Evan Tanner.

Important news, announcements and interesting moments during TUF7 Finale
- The fight between Tim Credeur and Cale Yarbrough is being reported as cancelled. We will have an update as soon as we receive confirmation. According to UFC.com the fight has been cancelled.
Update: The fight was cancelled after Tim Credeur tested positive for Adderall, a psychostimulant prescribed for hyperactivity and narcolepsy.
- Spike TV just aired a cool commercial for upcoming Ultimate Fighter 8 "Team Nogueira vs Team Mir. The show will debut in September.
- According to Steve Cofield at Yahoo Sports, the entire cast of TUF7 was in Vegas for the Finale weigh ins yesterday including Jesse Taylor. He says that fans were 100% supportive of Taylor. Amazingly, Taylor said that he is still with the UFC and wants to fight again.
- Amir Sadollah, who came into The Ultimate Fighter 7 with no pro fights, defeats CB Dollaway to win the six figure contract and become the Ultimate Fighter.

Matt Riddle vs Dante Rivera (Middleweight Bout)
- Round 1: The fighters clinch and Riddle goes for a single leg. Dante grabs his neck and starts to work on a guillotine. Riddle gets out and they are back to the clinch. They start to trade some good knees. Rivera looses his mouth piece and Riddle lands a nice knee to the chin inside. The fighters are separated for inactivity. Dante misses with a big punch and they tie up again. They both start to utilize the knees inside again. Riddle gets a full body lock and continues to work the knees. Dante comes back with a good knee to the head. Rivera lands two solid leg kicks and they clinch. Riddle gets the takedown and starts to work some elbows before the round comes to end.

- Round 2: Both fighters miss with punches and they are right back into a clinch. Riddle gets the takedown and starts to kick the legs of Rivera. Dante gets back to his feet and they immediately clinch against the cage. Riddle continues to work the knees to the legs. They separate and Dante gets in some solid uppercuts. Back in the clinch Matt works some foot stomps. They continue to battle for position in the clinch. Dante can’t get Riddle to the mat. Rivera lands a big overhand left but gets taken down and into full mount. He lands some good punches but then transitions into an armbar and gives up position. Dante now starts to work in full guard. Riddle sinks in a triangle choke and works the arm. He elbows away at Dante’s ribs but runs out of time.

- Round 3: Dante comes out with a kick to the body. He lands a leg kick but eats a knee to the face in return. Back in the clinch they work for position. Riddle grabs Muay Thai clinch and starts to work some knees. He gets the double leg and takes Rivera down. Dante starts to work his rubber guard, landing some short shots to the head. Riddle passes to half guard and starts to work a little ground and pound. Riddle lands a big elbow and they are back to their feet. Rivera lands a good kick to the body and they are back to clinch. Dante works for the takedown but gets taken down himself. He starts to work the rubber guard again but lets it go. The ref stands them up and they are right back into clinch. Riddle takes his back and transitions into mount. He starts to lands some big shots and Dante starts to turn over. Rivera starts to escape but the round ends.

Spencer Fisher vs Jeremy Stephens (Lightweight Bout)
- Round 1: Both guys are eager to knock each others head off. They start to bang and Fisher lands a couple of good lefts. Fisher gets a takedown into full guard. He postures up and starts to land some shots. Stephens returns fire with some elbows from the bottom. He rolls for an armbar but misses. He lands a nice punch and continues to land some really good elbows off his back. He throws up a triangle but gives up position in the process. Spencer lands a cool reverse elbow from half guard. Fisher starts to land some vicious elbows to Stephens face. Fisher mounts and Stephens gives up his back but only for a moment. Back in guard, Fisher continues his ground and pound assault. He has a nasty cut on his right arm. They trade elbows and the round ends.

- Round 2: They start to trade and Stephens lands a solid right hand. They clinch up against the cage. As they separate Stephens lands a nice combo and Fisher returns the favor. Stephens throws a flying knee, eats a right hook and smiles a Fisher. Spencer comes in with a good combo and they are back in the clinch. Fisher loses his mouthpiece during an exchange and time out is called. Back in action they start to trade. After a momentary clinch Stephens tries to trip but gets reversed and Spencer ends up in side control. He starts to work some elbows. Fisher unloads with a good barrage of elbows. Grinding away, Spencer continues to ground and pound. He stands up and eats an up kick. He passes to side control. Stephens get to his feet, picks up Spencer and slams him to the mat. He lands a couple of elbows and the round ends.

- Round 3: Fisher lands a good body kick and Stephens throws up his hands to say "bring it". Stephens turns it up and lands a solid right hand followed by a body kick. They trade combos and Stephens lands a solid knee to the body. They continue to trade shots and it looks like Stephens gets poked in the eye. Spencer shoots for a takedown but gets caught in a guillotine. Fisher, in temporary trouble, passes to side control and escapes. Spencer mounts and starts to pick his shots. For some strange reason he gets out of mount and back to guard. Back on their feet, Stephens lands a good right hand. Fisher tries to get the takedown but ends up in his back. Stephens starts to work some elbows in full guard. Fisher works to escape but is caught up against the cage. Jeremy lets him up and goes for a guillotine. Fisher throws him down and throws a nice reverse elbow. Spencer gets caught in another guillotine with 10 seconds left. Stephens squeezes with everything he’s got but time runs out.

Diego Sanchez vs Luigi Fioravanti (Welterweight Bout)
Amir Sadollah vs CB Dollaway (TUF7 Middleweight Final Bout)
- Round 1: CB strikes first with a leg kick and Amir returns the favor with a front kick of his own. Dollaway lands another leg kick and then gets the takedown into full guard. CB starts to let some punches go. He works to pass and gets side control isolating Amir’s arm. Amir throws up his legs looking for a submission but eats some punches in the process. CB postures and continues to ground and pound. Sadollah sinks in an armbar and extends it. CB taps and the ref stops the fight. Dollaway throws up his hands in disbelief complaining about the stoppage as if he didn’t tap. It is clear in the replay that he tapped. Amir Sadollah is the Ultimate Fighter.

Evan Tanner vs Kendall Grove (Middleweight Bout)
- Round 1: Grove comes out with a nice jab. Tanner grabs Kendall and starts to work for the takedown. Grove lands a nice elbow inside the clinch. Relentless, Tanner gets the takedown into side control. Grove gets back to his feet but eats a knee on the way. Kendall lands a big elbow inside the clinch followed by another elbow and Tanner is cut. Kendall throws a head kick and loses his balance. Grove grabs the Muay Thai plum and works some good knees. Tanner has a single leg but Grove jumps and lands a beautiful knee ala Yves Edwards. Tanner gets the takedown into Grove’s guard. Kendall almost secures a triangle but Evan escapes. Tanner falls down and Kendall gets his back. He sinks in one hook and starts to work on the other. Now with both hooks in Tanner shakes him off. Evan eats a big up kick. He misses with a big punch on the way down into Grove’s guard. He lands a couple of good punches. Grove gets back to his feet and the round ends.

- Round 2: They come out swinging with Grove getting the better of the strikes. He lands a good combination and a nice right hand. He lands another good combo and a stiff uppercut. He lands a solid body kick. Evan comes in and ties him up against the cage. Grove lands another jumping knee while Tanner works on the single. Tanner gets the takedown into half guard. Grove uses a kimura to stand up and they clinch. Grove lands a big elbow that rocks Tanner almost dropping him. He follows with some big punches and a knee. He continues the onslaught with vicious elbows but Evan survives and starts to regain his composure a little. Grove lands a big knee and they tie up. They trade elbows and Grove lands a brutal head kick. He lands a vicious body kick to finish the round strong.

Grove lands a couple of good elbows inside which has pretty much been the story of the fight. Tanner lands a nice leg kick but eats a combo in the process. Tanner comes back with some good punches and they clinch. They trade shots inside and Evan gets the body lock looking for the takedown. They trade knees inside but Evan backs off. Tanner catches Grove with a solid right hand. He lands an uppercut inside. They start to bang it out trading combos. They tie up with 15 seconds left on the clock. They separate and Grove works his jab. Kendall finishes with a big knee and the main event is over.
