Saturday, June 21st, was a big night for many fighters but especially for Amir Sadollah who captured "The Ultimate Fighter 7" crown and took home the six figure contract with Zuffa. Amir Sadollah made quick work of CB Dollaway defeating him for the second time via armbar and earning $16,000 for his troubles. Diego Sanchez was the event’s highest paid fighter, taking home a cool $70,000 for his dominating performance over Luigi Fioravanti who made a mere $10,000. Official Bonuses
* Tim Credeur failed a pre-fight drug test and the fight was cancelled during the event. Credeur tested positive for Adderall, a psychostimulant prescribed for hyperactivity and narcolepsy. According to MMAJunkie.com, Yarbrough was still paid his base salary. It is also assumed that Credeur still received his base salary but it has not been confirmed. As usual, the payout’s listed above are base salaries and do not include deductions for insurance licenses, taxes etc. Nor do they include money paid by sponsors which can make up for a large part of the fighters income. Payout’s are as reported by the Nevada State Athletic Commission per MMAJunkie.com. |
