Former TUF cast member and current Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Bobby Southworth is headed to the Playboy Mansion on September 20th to defend his title against recent Affliction "Banned" participant Renato "Babalu" Sobral.

The Vice President of Strikeforce Mike Afromowitz confirmed what looks to be the co-main event of Strikeforce’s "Playboy at the Mansion II" with MMAJunkie.com this afternoon.

Afromowitz also confirmed two more previously reported fights for the September event.

The first is a title bout between Strikeforce lightweight champ Josh Thomson and a TBA opponent. The second bout will feature the unbeaten Billy Evangelista who also lacks an opponent as of now.

Ludwig vs Morgan at Oct. 3 Strikeforce in Colorado
In addition to revealing the aforementioned title bout, Strikeforce has also announced an additional event that will take the organization east of Cali for only the second time in it’s history to Denver Colorado on October 3.

The event dubbed "Payback" will take place at the Broomfield Event Center near Denver, CO, the same venue used for UFC Fight Night 13 in April. The feature attraction will pit Muay Thai striker Duane "Bang" Ludwig against "The Ultimate Fighter 2" cast member Sammy Morgan. The pair met once before at a Ring of Fire event over 3 years ago in Colorado. Morgan made quick work of Ludwig, knocking out the experienced striker in less than a minute.

UFC veterans Phil Baroni and Frank Trigg are also tentatively scheduled for the October event. Trigg’s participation in the event will depend on the outcome of his health following his August 24th bout against Makoto Takimoto at "Sengoku IV." However, Trigg has stated that he would like to compete three more times before the year is over which would include an appearance at the "Payback" event.
