Mauricio and Murilo Hua announced Tuesday that they have left the highly tauted Chute Boxe camp in Brazil. The brothers stated that they will be forming their own team in Massachusetts and that they left on good terms.

Chute Boxe trainer Rudimar Fedrigo had this to say about their departure.

"We regret the departure of Mauricio and Murilo Rua,"

"They are fighters born here at Chute Boxe and left the team to form their own in the United States. Remember that the doors of Chute Boxe will always be open to both, and I wish good luck and success in their new job."

Both brothers had great success under the tutelage of Fedrigo and the rest of the trainers at Chute Boxe. Mauricio "Shogun" Hua rose to the top of the light heavyweight division and to many was the #1 pound for pound 205lb fighter in the world up until his fight with Forrest Griffin. Murilo "Ninja" Hua had recently been crowned middleweight champion of EliteXC before being dethroned by Robby Lawler at EliteXC Uprising in September.

The Chute Boxe camp will never be the same after the recent departure of the two brothers but will always remain a factor in the professional world of Mixed Martial Arts.
