National Geographic is debuting a cool show called Fight Science: Masters of Mixed Martial Arts on January 27 at 8pm ET.

The show will feature Bas Rutten, Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, and Dean Lister as the "Masters" of mma.

The show takes an in depth look at the science behind some of mma’s signature movies including strikes, submissions and throws. You will get to see exactly how much force is behind these moves and also see slow motion video capture’s showing the body’s movement. It looks pretty interesting so check it out.

Visit National Geographic’s Fight Science web page for more information and details about the show including fighter profiles. Each fighter profile has a preview video as well displaying their unique technique.

Here is the link to the preview video National Geographic posted on their site.
