MMAjunkie.com revealed the fighter payouts (salaries) for past Saturday’s EliteXC / StrikeForce "Shamrock vs Cung Le" event which took place in front of a packed crowd at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The main event lived up to the hype and drew 15,192 attendees of which 14,710 paid bringing the total live gate to $1,117,855. |

The fans were electric and a new EliteXC Middleweight Champion arose in what was an emotional ending to the night. The winner by TKO (Doctor stoppage) was Cung Le who earned $200,000 to steal the belt from one of MMA’s pioneer’s and legend of the sport. His opponent Frank Shamrock took home the highest purse of $300,000 which reflects his status in the world of MMA. Total payroll for StrikeForce "Shamrock vs Cung Le" was $667,850.
