EliteXC’s third Primetime installment of “Saturday Night Fights” on CBS kicks off tonight at 9pm ET from the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, FL.
EliteXC “Heat” features a main event between Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock but the real story of the night, at least for hardcore fans, is between former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and former IFL standout Roy “Big Country” Nelson.

Ken Shamrock has been forced to withdrawal from the main event against Kimbo Slice due to a cut above his left eye that required stitches. Ken received the gash from a headbutt during his warmup.
Former UFC veteran and former cast member of “The Ultimate Fighter” Seth Petruzelli has been tapped as Shamrock’s last minute replacement. 28 year old Petruzelli has stumbled upon a huge opportunity as he will take on the legendary street fighter Kimbo Slice in the main event. Seth was originally slated to face Aaron Rosa in a preliminary bout.
