Things have gone from bad to worse for the former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson since his arrest for hit-and-run in Costa Mesa. According to the Daily Pilot, 38 year old Holli Griggs, the pregnant woman who was sideswiped by Jackson during his alleged hit-and-run incident, suffered a miscarriage and lost her 16 week old baby boy.

Charges have yet to be filed against Jackson. To be fair, prosecutors are taking their time with the evidence and medical info in the case to make sure the charges are accurate when filed. Holli’s Fiance, Bill Krebs, came forward on Friday with the news of his wife’s tragic loss. The couples first sign of concern came when Doctors at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Anaheim noticed a significant loss of fluid inside Griggs’ womb following the accident. Ironically, just days before the incident, the couple was told that Holli "had enough fluid for three babies." Jackson’s downward spiral began on July 15 when he attempted to outrun the Costa Mesa Police Department following the hit-and-run.
To add insult to injury, Jackson was picked up by police the following day and taken to a hospital for observation after the cops deemed him a danger to himself and others. A little over a week later, there were reports that Jackson was delusional and claiming to be "God." (Photo courtesy of TwoSeven.) |

There have been unconfirmed reports that former 205 pound champion and troubled UFC star, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is planning on returning to the octagon in November at a yet to be announced event. The planned event, likely to be UFC 91, will likely take place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey and the opponent for Jackson will come in the form of “The Axe Murderer” Wanderlei Silva, reported SI.com. This will be the third time the two have met, with Silva handing Jackson the worst defeats of his career so far. Silva is coming off an impressive win against awkward striker, Keith Jardine, and will look to keep his momentum going in the fight against Rampage. |

| For Jackson on the other hand, no statement has been made about his recent erratic behavior and, although against his lawyer’s advice, brief appearances in public have been made. Reports had been made of a falling out with long time coach Juanito Ibarra, days before the initial incident involving police. There is no telling how this and his current mental state will affect Jackson, lets just hope it’s not too soon. | |

Apparently the "God Complex" isn’t just reserved for doctors but for mixed martial artists as well. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson who’s recent double arrests have caused quite a stir in the MMA world, has made headlines again but this time for something a bit more superficial. It appears that Jackson is delusional and claiming to be "God" according to an anonymous source close to the situation. It looks like his loss to Forrest Griffin at UFC 86 has had a major effect on the Memphis native. Whatever it is, has sent him on a downward spiral into a state of confusion and delirium. |

Cage Potato was the first to break the news regarding Jackson’s new religious claims.
As Cage Potato states, this is second-hand information so take it with a grain of salt. Whatever is going on with the former champ sounds pretty serious. He is a great guy and we wish him well in his recovery. Feel free to say a prayer for Jackson and his family in the comment section of this post. |

I can’t believe I am actually typing this but yes Quinton Jackson has been arrested again the day after he led cops on a high speed chase in California. Ok Jackson slow down, I can’t even keep up with your arrests on my blog. At least keep the arrest down to like once a week if you can? According to sources, an Irvine cop passing by was flagged down at around 4:30pm on Wednesday. A relative or acquaintance then told the officer that they were "concerned about some alarming statements and unusual behavior he was exhibiting." |

Apparently the police saw Jackson, determined that he was a danger to himself and others, and took him to the hospital for observation. Jackson was very cooperative with the police. This is not even 24 hours after he was supposedly bailed out of jail by UFC President Dana White for $25,000. Jackson was arrested at gun-point yesterday after an alleged hit-and-run incident on a California highway. He faces multiple charges including felony evading, hit-and-run and reckless driving. Update: According to NBCSports.com, Rampage was admitted to the hospital for a mental health evaluation and has not been charged with a crime. Update #2: According to a friend close to Jackson, he has slept and ate little over the last couple of days. Sherdog.com has also released some more details regarding his stay at the hospital.
We will post updates as soon as more details become available. |

Apparently things aren’t going well for the former UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who recently lost his belt to rival TUF coach Forrest Griffin at UFC 86. A bystander on a California highway snapped these shots of the former champ being arrested today at gun-point for an alleged hit-and-run incident that followed with a high speed chase. During the chase, Rampage apparently hit multiple cars until finally succumbing to the police after completely losing his front left tire. No injuries were reported following the incident. |
