He explains what it was like on the Ultimate Fighter and what it was like defeating the legend Royce Gracie.

Hughes talks about all of the important moments in his life including the birth of his daughter, falling in love with his wife and why he let God into his heart. Chuck "the iceman" Liddell has a new book coming out in January about his life as a fighter and his beginnings in mma. The book called "Iceman: My Fighting Life", chronicles the former light heavyweight champion’s roads to the top and from winning his first mma fight in 1998.

Here is a quote from the prologue:
"When I walk out of the tunnel, I can see the lights, hear the music, feel the crowd, but it all begins to close off as I near the cage. By that point I’m thinking, I’ve been training hard, it’s time to focus….Every man is born with a fight-or-flight instinct, and mine is to fight. It always has been."

Chuck, who was raised by a single mother and inspired by his his grandfather, learned how to fight from a very young age in the poor section of Santa Barbara. He will also explain the stories behind his mohawk and trademark name as well. He will talk about the bitter rivalry with Tito Ortiz and how they went from friends to foes. He will also explain how he balances life as a fighter, as a champ and as a superstar in the world of mma.

The iceman book should be a great book if are a fan of "the iceman" or if you are just a true hardcore mma fan.The book list for $25.95 and you can pre-order now. Scheduled delivery for the book is January 29, 2008.
