Donruss announced that they will be releasing the first mixed martial arts (MMA) trading cards this summer.

The new cards called Ring Kings will arrive with the release of Donruss Americana II and will feature some of MMA’s top fighters including Randy Couture, Urijah Faber, Dan Henderson, Georges St. Pierre, Matt Serra, Rich Franklin, Forrest Griffin, Houston Alexander and more.

Donruss states that promotional cards featuring some of the fighters will be distributed as early as this month. The promotional cards will include autographed cards as well as memorabilia cards. The card company has plans to test the market by sampling some of the cards at a few mixed martial arts events this spring before they release the actual set.
