Following in the footsteps of his WWE counterpart Brock Lenar, former pro wrestler and one of the world’s stongest men Mike Miller has decided to test his chops in the mixed martial arts cage.

Miller, who at the pinnacle of his powerlifting career weighed in excess of 400 pounds, made the announcement during a recent episode of the “Super Human Radio” show.

And while Miller has never professionally competed in MMA, he is no stranger to mixed martial arts.

“I’ve been training in martial arts for over ten years” Miller told the host Carl Lanore during the interview.

Miller created waves in the powerlifting world back in 2006 when he set a world record squatting 1,220lbs to beat the previous record of 1,212 set by Jeff Lewis.

Mark moved on from powerlifting to become and pro wrestler and has now decided to leave the politics of the WWE behind to fight for real. Miller will make his MMA debut on November 7 in Fredericksburg, VA. Despite his size advantage, Miller remains humble as evident in this clip from the show.

“I would be afraid for anyone who steps in the ring with you” Lanore offered to Miller. “With MMA you can’t underestimate anybody” Miller replied, “You can’t be a big headed guy…. Even the biggest and the best get knocked down.”

Just a few more pounds to drop and Miller will be heading to an octagon near you. To listen to Miller’s complete interview visit SuperHumanRadio.com.
