Affliction Vice President, Tom Atencio, confirmed details regarding Affliction’s upcoming debut event “Banned” on tonight’s episode of Inside MMA on HDNet.

Among other things Atencio confirmed that the event will take place on July 19 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.

He also named some new additions to the card which now features 9 confirmed bouts.

The main card will be available on PPV at a price of $39.95. The undercard will air on FSN (Fox Sports Net) thanks to a recent deal announced at the Affliction press conferences in Los Angeles and New York City.

Main Card (PPV)

• Fedor Emelianenko vs Tim Sylvia
• TBA vs Ben Rothwell (opponent most likely Arlovski)
• Josh Barnett vs Pedro Rizzo
• Renato Sobral vs Mike Whitehead
• Matt Lindland vs Fabio Nascimento

Undercard (FSN)

• Aleksander Emelianenko vs Paul Buentello
• Savant Young vs Mark Hominick
• Justin Levens vs Ray Lazama
• JJ Ambrose vs Patrick Speight
• Mike Pyle vs Brett Cooper

The company has plans for at least three events. The next event will take place in October with the winners of Fedor vs Sylvia and Barnett vs Rizzo facing each other in the main event.

It has also been revealed that Affliction will be using a traditional ring instead of a cage.
